INSANITY. GENIUS. MADNESS. They are all labels given to people who think in ways that seem beyond, or outside what is seen
as 'normal'. Madness finds its roots in the behavior of rabid animals and with this debut album, ADVANCED STRING THEORY, THE NEW WAYS are frothing at the mouth.

It is widely believed that the theoretical framework called string theory is a step towards the correct fundamental description of nature. If that is true, then ADVANCED STRING THEORY is a step toward trying to understand the motivation of the “subconscious"; grand catch-all of irrational human nature. ADVANCED STRING THEORY is a brave attempt to dissect and chronicle the emotional firestorm of human behavior.

In order to fully appreciate the intentions and concepts that ADVANCED STRING THEORY has brought to life, one has to be adept at absorbing much more auditory information while refusing to filter out relevant details. Drawing inspiration from a variety of electronic music genres (Deep house, Minimal, 3AM Techno, 8 Bit, Industrial, etc.), THE NEW WAYS bind and weld layers of digital pandemonium onto rich, able-bodied foundations bass. Each song is allowed to instinctively blossom into its own organic structure and form; nothing is forced, pushed or stilted.

Varying from uncompromising & ruthless with songs like WITH YOU and THE ACHE then flowing into a Chicago dance floor stompers like MY MOON IS BIGGER THAN YOUR MOON and HOMEROOM 101 with some experimental, progressive electronica like OUT OF THE GAME and FREEZE. With such an unexampled debut, its unclear, yet exciting to speculate what THE NEW WAYS will do next.
